Coptic Orthodox Publishers

Preserving the Faith. Sharing the Wisdom. Continuing the Legacy.

Welcome to Coptic Orthodox Publishers.

Our aim is simple: to make the spiritual treasures of the Coptic Orthodox Church more accessible to English-speaking readers.

Through English translations of Orthodox books, the writings and teachings of our spiritual fathers, the lives of the saints, prayers, hymns and resources for children, we hope to share the richness of our Orthodox heritage with both Coptic Christians and all those who sincerely seek to know Christ and grow in their spiritual life.

Discover the Wisdom of the Church

For generations, the Coptic Orthodox Church has preserved a rich treasury of spiritual teaching and Christian experience.

Many of these works were written in Arabic and remain inaccessible to those who cannot read the language.

We are working to make more of this treasure available in English — carefully translated and presented so that it can be read, shared and preserved for future generations.

The Wisdom of Pope Shenouda III

The writings and sayings of His Holiness Pope Shenouda III have touched the lives of countless people around the world.

We are particularly committed to making more of his spiritual teaching available to English-speaking readers.

From spiritual warfare and prayer to repentance, humility and the Christian life, his writings offer profound guidance for those seeking to walk with our Lord Jesus Christ.

Remembering a Legacy

This project also has a very personal purpose.

It is an effort to preserve and continue the legacy of parents who faithfully served the children of the Church for many years — translating church lectionaries, writing plays and producing monthly magazines and resources for children of different ages.

Their work was created to serve the Church and to help the next generation grow in the faith.

We hope that making these works available, together with new translations and resources, will allow that legacy of service to continue.
